With any business concept, there’s either a ground level or launching level. Many of us want to start at the top but in most cases that isn’t reality. Keep in mind that whatever you do on the ground level sets the tone for the future of your brand and company overall. Are you searching for tips to create a successful e-commerce business? If so, keep reading. We have a lot to share today.

If you tuned in to last week’s Lunch and Learn, you might have caught some major nuggets from  Tieron Spear who discussed how he created a multi-million dollar e-commerce business from the ground up. Tieron shared lots of knowledge and I’m going to give you my 3 biggest takeaways.

Before we get started here’s what you should know about Tieron Spear. He’s a veteran of the United States Marine Corp, studied digital marketing at Emory University and runs several businesses, selling over $2 Million dollars in products using SEO. He founded the Foreign Direct Investment Project and Uzima Water a bottled water plant in Nairobi, Kenya.

Tieron is emerging as a voice of authority in the world of e-commerce, SEO, and social media marketing.

Do Your Research

Before you make the decision to launch a new product or service you need to find out what others are doing in your market. Attend trainings and network with individuals who have a similar vision and goal in mind. It’s really important to surround yourself around people who are like minded and have the same drive when it comes to entrepreneurship.

Find out who is killing it in your ideal market space. Reach out to them and gain the knowledge needed to propel in your business. Purchase their book and become their customer. This will give you the customer’s viewpoint. Take notes, implement, and tweak what they are to fit your vision.

Prepare Your Mind

Your mindset is a priority when creating and launching a business idea. What you think will reflect during the implementation of your business. At the end of the day, your goal is to sell your product or service. How can you do this if you aren’t confident enough to produce?

The reality is that many people face the fear of actually launching their idea. They hold back because they don’t think it’s good enough. You will never know if your idea will work if you don’t try. Consider working with a business or mindset coach to boost your confidence and overall self-esteem.

Take Action

You did your research and your mindset on point now it’s time to take action and execute. Create that website or funnel that you’ve been holding back on.  Find local events to vend at and get your brand in front of your customer. Write content and copy that is appealing and capturing.

Hire a team of goal-driven individuals who will rep your company as you would. Make sure that your systems are in place and go for the gold! You got this!
